The origin: the desire to offer healthier and more environmentally responsible clothing
The story of MOERO, a local clothing brand based in Reunion, began at the end of 2012, with a strong desire to offer timeless, healthy clothing to my family (without chemicals because screen-printed t-shirts had caused controversy because what they scratched when we wore them)!
At that time, there were not many clothes made from natural yarn.
Passionate about design and fashion, I have the idea of producing clothes that use natural threads and the desire to make them prevail on the market.
I started by imagining and creating clothes that I first presented to my family and those around me.
The demand grew quickly and I realized that I could make a business out of it.
The creation of the MOERO brand
Passionate about fashion, I created my own clothing brand on Reunion Island with 3 strong values: local creation, respect for the environment, authenticity.
I then continued and evolved to develop my own brand of timeless organic cotton clothing.
Created in April 2013, MOERO is built on the belief that more ethical fashion is possible and launches its own premium quality organic cotton clothing.
It's not just a nice statement, we've made it for each of our collections!
Product quality is at the heart of every part of the production process.
Concretely, MOERO is committed to and has become a partner of the GOTS label which takes into account the quality of raw materials, assembly and technology, the choice of cotton threads, from sewing to embroidery. All these elements contribute to the final quality of our clothes.
